Premiery LEGO 1 maja: Wszystko, co musisz wiedzie? przed zakupem

May 1 is the start of May the 4th for LEGO Star Wars fans, but there’s a few other releases to be aware of as well ahead of next month.

May might be overshadowed by May the 4th excitement but, with news coming from every direction about promotions, GWPs, and events, make sure you don’t miss a single release with this breakdown of everything you need to know about May 1 releases. That includes a lot of LEGO Star Wars, admittedly, but also some others themes that deserve your attention too.

Read on for a summary of each set, a quick look at reviews – and our final verdict, as always.

LEGO BrickHeadz 40796 Revenge of the Sith Heroes & Villains

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Episode III in 2025 is 40796 Revenge of the Sith Heroes & Villains, a 656-piece BrickHeadz featuring five fan-favourite characters in blocky form. Priced at £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99, the set includes Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala, General Grievous, Emperor Palpatine and Mace Windu all of which can be placed on simple black display stands.

Highlights of 40796 Revenge of the Sith Heroes & Villains include the villains’ ominous red and yellow eyes and the transformation of General Grievous into miniature form, complete with arms and lightsabers. The LEGO BrickHeadz build also compliments 40676 The Phantom Menace, a collection of six characters that was released in 2024.

“When I first saw the ROTS BrickHeadz I thought, “day one purchase.” But the more I look at them, the less I like them. Not a fan of Anakin’s hair and no scar on his eye is pretty unacceptable (especially when Kylo Ren got a printed piece). The other human characters are… good… but very plain. I was happy that Palpatine could pass for the original trilogy Emperor, but on second thought his dark red outfit would have been more interesting and fit with the ROTS theme. Grievous is probably my favourite, but even he really pushes the limits of the BrickHeadz format.”

Our verdict: One for fans of Revenge of the Sith and LEGO BrickHeadz collectors looking to pick up new figures.

LEGO Star Wars 40765 Kamino Training Facility

This year’s LEGO Star Wars Day GWP is 40765 Kamino Training Facility, a 190-piece promotional set based on the location from Attack of the Clones and episodes of The Clone Wars TV show. The build comes with a brick-built KE-8 Enforcer ship, three Clone Cadet minifigures and a four-way blaster turret.

40765 Kamino Training Facility can be yours with LEGO Star Wars purchases of £145 / $160 / €160 or more during this May the 4th period, from May 1 through to May 5 at LEGO.com and in LEGO stores, while stocks last. The set it easily a must-have model, meaning that it’s not likely to stick around for long once the promotional period kicks off.

“This is a first instance of building a LEGO Star Wars set within Kamino’s cloning facility and, whilst it is light on detail, the choice of minifigures and small ship make for an excellent first time around. Whilst beyond that the set is limited, there is enough in the design of the minifigures in particular to transport you back to Attack of the Clones and to really want to pick this one up. You may have a lot of clone troopers in various suits, but none in training gear like these…”

Brick Fanatics
Pros of 40765 Kamino Training FacilityCons of 40765 Kamino Training Facility
Three must-have minifiguresLikely to sell-out quite quickly
Plenty of play potentialSet is light on detail
Based on a little-seen location

Our verdict: An excellently-conceived LEGO Star Wars gift-with-purchase to tie in with Attack of the Clones.

LEGO Marvel 76323 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle

The LEGO Marvel design team returns to the Infinity Saga well once again with 76323 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle, a 621-piece set priced at £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99. For that hefty tag (including obligatory Disney tax), you’re looking at a pure display build with a selection of ring portals, nine minifigures, a Thanos bigfig and a large, poseable Ant-Man mech.

While that may sound impressive on paper, the completed results leave a lot to be desired. For starters, none of the minifigures are exclusive to the set, with most having been essentially recycled from other LEGO Marvel models, and some curiously absent (no Captain Marvel or Thor?). In addition, there’s also only a hint of any play features and those that have been included are a little disappointing to say the least.

“To be honest, I expected a lot more. Unfortunately, many of the minifigures we’ve had in previous sets. If you don’t own any of the minifigures then this is the perfect way to start, but many of them are missing leg and arm printing. The parts are very useful though, with no bright pink or lime pieces, only reddish brown, dark grey, red, black and dark tan elements. I don’t think it’s worth €99.99 for just 621 pieces and it doesn’t know whether it’s supposed to be a playset or a display set.”

Pros of 76323 Avengers: Endgame Final BattleCons of 76323 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle
Accessible way of obtaining multiple minifiguresOverpriced for what’s included
Reconfigurable portals and display standNew Captain America’s shield is disappointing
Incorporates some interesting building techniquesLack of playability and reused minifigures

Our verdict: Even the most dedicated Marvel fans are likely to baulk at the set’s price-to-piece ratio and disappointing minifigure selection.

LEGO Star Wars 75399 Rebel U-Wing Starfighter

A sequel to 2016’s ever-so-slightly-larger 75155 Rebel U-Wing Fighter, this year’s 75399 Rebel U-Wing Starfighter offers essentially more of the same, but at a reduced scale. Priced at £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99, the 594-piece build is based on the ship’s appearance in Andor Season 2, as referenced by the set’s included minifigure selection.

75399 Rebel U-Wing Starfighter comes with Cassian Andor himself, as well as Dedra Meero and an ISB Tactical Agent, plus a K-2SO droid figure to round out the character line-up. The LEGO Star Wars craft features the familiar swing-wing functionality of the previous iteration, alongside two spring-loaded shooters, a lever-operated canopy and an opening compartment for passengers and cargo, all of which should offer up plenty of play and display potential.

“I like it for what it is, but I’ll be honest, the downsize/scaling on the pilot area is my least favourite aspect. Not a fan of the laying down pilot design, and not being able to see down through the bottom windscreen and the cockpit is criminal – that was one of my favourite design features on the original. Still, good figures and size, so I’ll pick one up.”

Pros of 75399 Rebel U-Wing StarfighterCons of 75399 Rebel U-Wing Starfighter
A new version of a fan-favourite shipSmaller than 2016’s offering
Minifigures based on Andor Season 2Minifigures have to lie flat to fit in the cockpit
Some fun play functionalityLess pieces means a sacrifice in details

Our verdict: Fans of Rogue One and Andor will want to add the set to their collections, but the model isn’t a massive upgrade on the 2016 version.

LEGO Star Wars 75416 Chopper (C1-10P)

Everyone’s favourite war criminal is joining the line-up of buildable droids in the form of 75416 Chopper (C1-10P). Built to the same scale as 75398 C-3PO and 75379 R2-D2, it’s an ideal continuation of display-ready droids that will tie in neatly to those that came before and those that will come after.

Priced at £94.99 / $99.99 / €109.99, 75416 Chopper (C1-10P) has had a price jump in comparison to 75379 R2-D2, a set of a similar size and shape – which has led to some criticism levelled against it.

“The key difference with 75379 R2-D2 is you got the 25th anniversary Darth Malak – and that figure…really incentivised fans, myself included, to pick up R2-D2. You can’t say the same here for Chopper. I don’t feel like it hits the same value at $100. On discount though, I think it’s worth picking up.”

Our verdict: Chop fans might be keen to pick him up day one, but we’re sure to see some discounts that might make the purchase a lot more manageable.

LEGO 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars

LEGO 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars marks a change for the LEGO Collectible Minifigures theme, bringing out 12 cars made up of 29 pieces each, rather than minifigures. There’s one for every Formula 1 team, as well as F1 and F1 Academy cars to round out a complete set of 12.

Once again debuting in blinx boxes, you can pick up each one for £3.49 / $4.99 / €3.99, each brick-built car comes with a blank white minifigure head, complete with a helmet printed in the colours of the Formula 1 team in question. Being the smallest and most cost-effective way to get every team on the grid in LEGO form, these cars might appeal to Formula 1 fans but many LEGO fans are bemoaning the lack of minifigures.

71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars deliver a more in-depth build than Collectible Minifigures, and a few cars are real standouts – while others are let down with few identifying features at this scale.”

Pros of 71049 F1 Collectible Race CarsCons of 71049 F1 Collectible Race Cars
Cost-effective way to get all 10 teamsLack of minifigures isn’t for everyone
Some cars have nifty design features……while others can’t perform at this scale
Surprisingly in-depth build

Our verdict: Hardcore motorsports fans might be let down by the lack of detail but there’s no denying that the tiny cars are fun to build and mess with.

LEGO Star Wars 75407 Brick-Built Star Wars Logo

Fans have been largely divided on 75407 Brick-Built Star Wars Logo, with some labelling it as a waste of space and others saying it’s a must-have. Comparing it to 76313 MARVEL Logo, the lack of minifigures has disappointed some, but it does bring this in at a (slightly) more accessible price point.

Retailing for £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99, it’s still pretty expensive for a set that’s probably going to collect dust on a shelf. There’s a small reference within the build but it’s pretty much what it says on the tin. If you like the look of the pictures, you won’t have too many surprises if you pick it up to add to your collection.

“Truly an impressive set, I think it’s pretty cut and dry. I love the colour scheme, I love the greebling. This was a lot of fun to piece together, very simple, very relaxing. All in all, a very displayable set.”

Surprisingly engaging buildSome minor inaccuracies around the shape of the ‘W’
More accessible price point than its Marvel counterpartLack of minifigures
An easy way to round out a Star Wars display

Our verdict: If you have a large LEGO Star Wars collection or want something to show your love for the theme, you’ll probably end up with this at some point. But did we really need it?

LEGO Star Wars 75415 Kylo Ren Helmet

The second part of May the 4th 2025’s celebration of The Force Awakens’ 10th anniversary is 75415 Kylo Ren Helmet. This keeps the focus solely on the Sith, but it’s always good to see the sequels represented in LEGO Star Wars when the theme maintains a greater focus on the original and prequel trilogies.

75415 Kylo Ren Helmet has 529 pieces and will be released on May 1, 2025, for £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99. As with most helmets, there’s no minifigure here but also no stickers, making it easier to display this set in its most pristine form.

“This helmet deserves, in my opinion, to take pride of place on your shelves. The character being emblematic of the saga and the design of the set being all the same are appreciated, especially in the absence of specific stickers.”

Hoth Bricks
Pros of 75415 Kylo Ren HelmetCons of 75415 Kylo Ren Helmet
No stickersLots of visible studs
Authentic shaping that blends simple and complex techniquesMore niche than most LEGO Star Wars helmets
A long-awaited addition to the helmet collection

Our verdict: While it’s not destined to be as popular as some of the other LEGO Star Wars helmet, 754415 Kylo Ren Helmet has a lot of positive features in its corner and is not a set to overlook this May.

LEGO Star Wars 75406 Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle

The midi-scale LEGO Star Wars Starship Collection expands with its first sequel trilogy entry, recreating Kylo Ren’s intimidating ship to celebrate 10 years of The Force Awakens. It’s not the smallest model of the ship to date, sitting near the bottom of the list and far behind the two minifigure-scale models.

What it lacks in size and minifigures, though, 75406 Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle make up for it in display value. Fans of the sequel trilogy can find a lot to love in this new LEGO Star Wars set, not that they’re spoiled for choice with sequel models in the current LEGO Star Wars portfolio.

“The appeal of this set really comes down to how much you value the finished ship as a display model. In that regard, the Command Shuttle holds its own, especially if you’re a fan of Kylo Ren’s Sith-infused aesthetic.”

The Brothers Brick
Pros of 75406 Kylo Ren’s Command ShuttleCons of 75406 Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle
An impressively accurate recreationA high price for the number of pieces
A quick and easy buildLacking clever techniques
More functions than most midi-scale sets

Our verdict: LEGO Star Wars 75406 Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle’s price is off-putting, but fans of the sequel trilogy have few better options to celebrate the newer movies and aside from the price, the set is impressive.

LEGO Botanicals 10347 Petite Sunny Bouquet

LEGO Botanicals bouquets are a staple of the LEGO collection at this point and now the LEGO Group is expanding to a lower price point with 10347 Petite Sunny Bouquet. With a colour scheme ideal for springtime, the diminutative bouquet is priced at £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99 and available to pre-order on LEGO.com for now.

Despite being smaller, there’s still a lot of variety, including Billy buttons, bluebells, Cleopatra ferns, yellow yarrow, a pink gerbera, a peony and a tulip, as well as featuring adjustable stems to create a bespoke floral display to display in your home – although still no vase included, contrary to some fans’ hopes.

“Love that they’re adding a bouquet on the cheaper side, and definitely a nice difference to the current ones.”

Perfect for this time of year (in the Northern hemisphere at least)

Our verdict: Affordable, plenty of variety, and a sign that LEGO Botanicals is still the place to go for clever design on a budget.

LEGO Star Wars 75408 Jango Fett Helmet

It’s the year of Jango Fett for May the 4th 2025 in not one, but two sets. 75408 Jango Fett Helmet is the more affordable option, joining the long list of LEGO Star Wars helmet models and the third based on the iconic Mandalorian design.

With 616 pieces and an updated design since the original Boba Fett helmet, 75408 Jango Fett Helmet is one LEGO Star Wars set not to miss for anyone diligently collection the helmets and early impressions note that it’s as good as it looks.

“Jango Fett’s helmet features a nice compromise between studded and smooth surfaces. Building it made me appreciate the craft that goes into finding the subtle angles that make the difference between a good enough and great likeness.”

The Brothers Brick
Pros of 75408 Jango Fett HelmetCons of 75408 Jango Fett Helmet
A great upgrade to Boba Fett’s helmetWhere else can the helmets go?
Incredible shaping and techniques
More accuracy than ever before

Our verdict: 75408 Jango Fett Helmet has proven that it’s worthwhile for the LEGO Star Wars team to revisit the original helmets, improving on the design of Boba Fett’s helmet in every conceivable way. This is one LEGO Star Wars set for fans of the Fetts not to miss out on.

LEGO Star Wars 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship

The next LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set is 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship. With just shy of 3,000 pieces, 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship celebrates the iconic bounty hunter and his clone son.

It comes with an authentic interior, thoughtful Easter eggs and overall significant upgrades over the last UCS model of this ship. It should make a fine addition to the expansive LEGO Star Wars collection and helps place the focus of May the 4th 2025 on the prequel trilogy.

“I have been looking forward to a modern version of Jango Fett’s Slave I, finally improving on the classic 7153 Jango Fett’s Slave I produced in 2002. Over two decades is an extremely long time to wait, especially given how regularly Boba’s version of the ship has been revisited, but 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship is an exceptional reward for our patience!”

Brickset

Our verdict: One of the most impressive additions to the Ultimate Collector Series yet. 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship only improves on the original Boba Fett UCS model with some great minifigures and Easter eggs – all for a surprisingly reasonable price.
