Premiery LEGO 1 czerwca: Wszystko, co musisz wiedzie? przed zakupem
June 1 is a big day for LEGO releases, so we’ve cut through the noise with spotlights on just the need-to-know LEGO sets ahead of release.
At the mid point of the year, the LEGO Group is delivering on both quality and quantity on June 1. There are dozens of sets across various themes due for release on June 1, with plenty available to pre-order right now.
However, if you’re struggling to know where to start when it comes to day one purchases, we’ve rounded up a list of the sets everyone’s talking about and, more importantly, what they’re saying. Read on for the breakdown of the need-to-know information ahead of June 1.
LEGO Botanicals 10349 Happy Plants

10349 Happy Plants puts a more cartoonish twist on the typically realistic Botanicals theme, with the pots featuring cutesy smiley faces. The plants within are fairly plain; the appeal here is certainly the anthropomorphised pots, complete with ‘arms’ that can hold hands.
Priced at a very reasonable £17.99 / $22.99 / €19.99 for 217 pieces, 10349 Happy Plants is not a particularly complex build but it does what it says on the tin and does it well.
“I love them and feel like I could get funky with the flowers inside the pots.”

Pros of 10349 Happy Plants | Cons of 10349 Happy Plants |
---|---|
Widespread appeal | Arguably more focus on the pots than the plants |
Trying something new for Botanicals | |
Good value for money |
Our verdict: An easy purchase for those looking for something bright and cheerful to perch on a shelf.
LEGO Star Wars 75412 Death Trooper & Night Trooper Battle Pack

When 75385 Ahsoka Tano’s Duel on Peridea came out last year, some were disappointed at the lack of Death Troopers and their signature armour in the set – but now that gap in LEGO minifigures has been well and truly patched. 75412 Death Trooper & Night Trooper Battle Pack features two Death Troopers and two Night Troopers, each with the unusual gold printing on the helmets, torso, and legs.
With zombified heads underneath, the attention to detail is impressive, even if two of the minifigures are duplicates. For those wanting to add some variety to their Trooper line-ups, 75412 Death Trooper & Night Trooper Battle Pack is an excellent choice.
“75412 Death Trooper & Night Trooper Battle Pack has some positive qualities, particularly for play. The dropship’s troop capacity is impressive for its size and the minifigures are appealing, although I think both the vehicle and its titular occupants could be considerably improved.”
Brickset
Pros of 75412 Death Trooper & Night Trooper Battle Pack | Cons of 75412 Death Trooper & Night Trooper Battle Pack |
---|---|
Plugs a much-needed gap in the LEGO Star Wars theme | Lacking variety in some areas |
Cost-effective way to bulk up minifigures | |
Unique printing for unusual characters |
Our verdict: Despite lacking some variety, this battle pack is a strong attempt at recreating unusual characters.
LEGO Disney 43269 101 Dalmatian

43269 101 Dalmatian proves once again that animated characters work best for buildable characters, providing an adorable and authentic brick-built version of a Dalmatian puppy. We say ‘a’ but there are various different puppies that you can create, complete with two types of colour and various name tags to differentiate between them.
The LEGO Disney set is definitely one for display, with limited posing options, but it does its job as a display model very well, looking fantastic perched on a shelf.
“The engaging build and impressively cute result make 43269 101 Dalmatians a tempting purchase for fans of the classic film – but a little more depth in the posability and customisation options would have helped to make it feel fully worth the price tag.”
Brick Fanatics
Pros of 43269 101 Dalmatian Puppy | Cons of 43269 101 Dalmatian Puppy |
---|---|
Authentic details from the movie | Limited poses |
Fun customisation options | |
Remarkably smart build techniques |
Our verdict: 43269 101 Dalmatian Puppy perfectly captures the magic of the movie in still life – but perhaps too still.
LEGO Harry Potter 76450 Book Nook: Hogwarts Express

The LEGO Group has started experimenting with book nooks and 76450 Book Nook: Hogwarts Express is perhaps the most easily implementable, ideal for using to display your copies of the well-loved series. Made up of 832 pieces, you can display it either as book ends, as pictured above, or as a book nook when folded together to form a tunnel-like structure.
The Hogwarts Express appears to chug through the shelf when displayed like book ends, complete with minifigure of Harry and Ron, as well as their beloved pets.
“Not the biggest Harry Potter fan, but I really like this book nook! At first glance wasn’t even aware it was supposed to be a book nook or book ends at all, but think this one works perfect regardless how you display it.”
Brickset commenter
Pros of 76450 Book Nook: Hogwarts Express | Cons of 76450 Book Nook: Hogwarts Express |
---|---|
Perfect for display | Playing it safe with location |
Excellent execution of a fun concept | |
Versatile functions |
Our verdict: A must-have LEGO set for any dedicated Harry Potter fans and easy to incorporate into a shelf, even without other LEGO Harry Potter sets.
LEGO Ideas 21357 Luxo Jr.

The latest LEGO Ideas set is both a buildable character and a household object and manages to do both perfectly. There’s no question of what 21357 Luxo Jr. is meant to be, but there are plenty of references and play features built into the model, just in case you weren’t 100% sure.
Every part of the set has been carefully thought out and selected by a designer who is clearly a fan. For Pixar fans, 21357 Luxo Jr. is the ultimate love letter to the entertainment brand.
“There’s something fun about brick-built household objects, and this one has the added benefit of being an iconic character for many of us. Of course, like all LEGO sets, this won’t be for everyone but I personally enjoyed the build process and the final model. Now I want to build appropriately scaled P, X, A and R letters to complete the model.”
New Elementary
Pros of 21357 Luxo Jr. | Cons of 21357 Luxo Jr. |
---|---|
Packed with Pixar references | Large parts hike up the price |
Undeniably accurate | |
Hopping motions add personality |
Our verdict: A slam dunk at nailing both a character and an object, while also packing in several hidden references. A must-have for Pixar fans.
LEGO Marvel 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust

LEGO Marvel 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust earned itself a lukewarm reception when it made its debut. Despite depicting an iconic character and featuring an exclusive minifigure (something the LEGO Marvel Helmet series was criticised for), the overall look is largely deemed to be underwhelming – especially when taking the price tag of £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99.
While it will likely have appeal to LEGO Marvel fans who want an instant display piece, the fact that the main appeal of the set is the minifigure speaks volumes about the reaction to the main build.
“76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust received a relatively lukewarm response when it was revealed in April and understandably so, as the sculpting of some facial features is questionable. However, I think the model looks reasonable for its size and the exclusive Iron Man MK4 minifigure is definitely a bonus.”
Brickset
Pros of 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust | Cons of 76327 Iron Man MK4 Bust |
---|---|
Exclusive Iron Man MK4 minifigure | Price feels steep when compared to the helmets |
Opens doors for new series | What does it offer that the helmets don’t? |
Accuracy issues, especially around the chin |
Our verdict: A lacklustre display model that learns from the mistakes of the Helmet series, while abandoning the detail that made them impressive in the first place.
LEGO Technic 42210 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-4 (R34)

42210 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-4 (R34) is the most detailed recreation of the iconic Fast & Furious car yet and not only does it manage to recreate every angle and curve in Technic elements, it also debuts one of the neatest play functions ever. The back of the car can raise or lower to give the effect of drifting, with the front two wheels turning while the back pair stay locked.
Admittedly, the eye-catching paint job is only achieved through a stack of stickers, but the final look is very impressive. One definitely to leave for experienced Technic builders, it’s well worth the complex experience.
“This is one of the best play features I’ve ever seen in a LEGO car. It’s absolutely brilliant.”
Ben’s Bricks
Pros of 42210 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-4 (R34) | Cons of 42210 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-4 (R34) |
---|---|
Impressive attention to detail | A lot of stickers |
Rewarding… | ….but complex build |
Debut of fantastic play ‘drift’ function |
Our verdict: If you can manage the complex build, you’re rewarded with an incredible play and display LEGO Technic set.
LEGO Harry Potter 76454 Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower

The biggest section of the ongoing LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle so far, beating out the previous giant 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall, 76454 Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower recreates the heart of the castle, the scene of many action-packed moments of the series. The characters alone are well worth a closer look, from the marauding troll to Fluffy the three-headed dog.
With more than 2,000 pieces, plenty of references and hidden secrets are packed into the build for Harry Potter fans to discover, as well as six of the 14 collectible Hogwarts portraits. While it’s not cheap at £229.99 in the UK, $259.99 in the US, and €249.99 in Europe, it certainly makes a splash whether you’re expanding your minifigure-scale Hogwarts or as a standalone display.
“The current LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts line is the best yet.”
reddit
Pros of 76454 Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower | Cons of 76454 Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower |
---|---|
Plenty of detail inside and out | Frustrating for those who feel forced to pivot to a new Hogwarts series |
Unique characters | |
Works as part of a collection or standalone |
Our verdict: This might be the set that will convince you to start collecting the new minifigure-scale Hogwarts Castle.
LEGO Star Wars 75400 Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter Microfighter

Most people will be buying 75400 Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter Microfighter for the minifigure but the build itself is surprisingly engaging for its size. With just 89 pieces, it’s still clearly recognisable, with an added astromech droid to round it out.
That said, it’s Plo Koon that everyone is here for and the new and exclusive minifigure doesn’t disappoint. With previous minifigures of the Jedi Master fetching hefty prices on the aftermarket, collectors will be here on day one for this LEGO Star Wars microfighter.
“Once it hits shelves, 75400 Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter Microfighter is going to be grabbed up by fans. If you’re not in a rush, while I will recommend it as a day one purchase just because it’s so good, this set makes a lot more sense than ever considering getting the secondhand market Plo Koon.”
Solid Brix Studios
Pros of 75400 Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter Microfighter | Cons of 75400 Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter Microfighter |
---|---|
A collectible minifigure made easier | |
Surprisingly impressive microfighter build | |
Exclusive minifigure for a great price |
Our verdict: A neat build that’s well worth it for the minifigure alone, but also delivers an engaging brick-built ship.
LEGO Art 31217 The Fauna Collection: Tiger

LEGO Botanicals is crossing over with LEGO Art with the new 31217 The Fauna Collection: Tiger, depicting a tiger sneaking through some foliage on your wall or displayed with its included stand.
LEGO Art sets have become especially popular and diverse, with a focus on animals via The Fauna Collection. 31217 The Fauna Collection: Tiger continues the subtheme while borrowing a concept from LEGO Botanicals in a relatively affordable package.
“LEGO Art sets are fast becoming one of my favourite LEGO themes and this one is a great addition to the line. The 3D face is brilliant and looks like it’s bursting through the foliage on the sides.”
Preston_builds
Pros of 31217 The Fauna Collection: Tiger | Cons of 31217 The Fauna Collection: Tiger |
---|---|
Realistic tiger face | Potentially niche target audience |
Good value | |
A successful crossover with LEGO Botanicals |
Our verdict: LEGO Art’s embrace of animals demonstrates the lingering potential in this theme and a crossover with LEGO Botanicals is a great idea, as much as the target audience for 31217 The Fauna Collection: Tiger might be niche.
LEGO City 60473 The City Tower

LEGO City’s second-biggest build of all time mashes together several subthemes into one creative model. It’s also one of the most expensive LEGO City sets of all time and early impressions on the model have seen many taken aback by 60473 The City Tower’s zany appearance.
While this probably wouldn’t the best building to live or work in, surrounded by a train below, a crane to the left, a stunt ramp to the right and a rocket launch site on top, there’s no denying that this LEGO building encapsulates the theme’s current attitude of realism with a twist. 60473 The City Tower demonstrates the difference between LEGO City and the modular building range, using the increased budget to represent the most important aspects of the theme in a single set.
“It’s clearly intended for children – and that’s fine – but that doesn’t mean as an AFOL I don’t have to like that. You can design sets that work for everyone, they don’t have to be a whimsical mess.”
LastTrainSector5 on reddit
Pros of 60473 The City Tower | Cons of 60473 The City Tower |
---|---|
The most varied LEGO City set to date… | …but it has intentionally clashing designs |
A good mix of building and vehicles | A pricey package for LEGO City |
A better build for children, despite the high price |
Our verdict: 60473 The City Tower won’t appeal to everyone, but it’s certainly not designed to.
LEGO Fortnite June 2025 wave

LEGO Fortnite’s second range of sets is hitting shelves soon, now focusing entirely on minifigures across three models (and another coming in August). Given the success of 77073 Battle Bus, it’s not a surprising result.
77075 Peely and Sparkplug’s Camp, 77076 Durrr Burger Restaurant, and 77077 Klombo have also changed in that they now have model-specific digital bonus rewards to unlock an outfit based on a minifigure in that set. Odyssey is the focus of the models again, intermingling with the battle royale mode in some cases, but less than last year overall. With new minifigures to collect and some recognisable builds for Fortnite fans, they seem likely to fly off shelves more evenly than the first wave.
“Out of these three LEGO Fortnite sets, 77077 Klombo might be my favourite, maybe because I don’t really play the game and am attracted by its looks, building techniques and desirable coloured pieces.”
Tiago Catarino
Pros of LEGO Fortnite June 2025 wave | Cons of LEGO Fortnite June 2025 wave |
---|---|
Many exclusive Fortnite minifigures | Nothing as iconic as 77073 Battle Bus this wave |
A great variety of builds, mostly based on Odyssey | |
Digital bonuses are now set-specific |
Our verdict: The three new LEGO Fortnite sets understandably double down on minifigures. Despite the reliance on minifigures, the models don’t disappoint with fun techniques and functionality. That said, there’s nothing quite as iconic as the Battle Bus this wave.
LEGO Jurassic World 76974 Brick-Built Mosasaurus Boat Mission

LEGO Jurassic World is embracing brick-built dinosaurs in standard sets with 76974 Brick-Built Mosasaurus Boat Mission, even proudly stating that fact in the set name. It’s an odd choice for LEGO Jurassic World after a decade of specialised dinosaur elements, but this set proves that it’s the right decision.
76974 Brick-Built Mosasaurus Boat Mission showcases that the array of LEGO pieces are all too capable of producing impressive brick-built minifigure-scale dinosaurs and hopefully, it’s a sign of things to come to keep prices reasonable in LEGO Jurassic World, but we can only hope that moulded dinosaurs won’t go extinct entirely.
“I am more impressed than I was by the initial imagery. That is mostly down to the mosasaurus, which really is another great brick-built creature. Even if the construction process feels somewhat like going over the same ground, the finished model is impressive and more importantly, good fun to play around with.”
New Elementary
Pros of 76974 Brick-Built Mosasaurus Boat Mission | Cons of 76974 Brick-Built Mosasaurus Boat Mission |
---|---|
Brick-built dinosaurs can be the future | Limited minifigure selection |
Excellent value for a LEGO Jurassic World set | Light on play features |
No bad build in the set between the boat, mosasaurus, and the stands |
Our verdict: Whether you’re convinced or not, LEGO Jurassic World 76974 Brick-Built Mosasaurus Boat Mission proves that brick-built dinosaurs can be the future of LEGO Jurassic World and if the prices are like this, maybe it’s a worthwhile trade.
LEGO Botanicals 10348 Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree

The new LEGO Botanicals bonsai tree might carry a more expensive price tag than the first bonsai, but it’s hard to deny its simplistic elegance. The set uses clever part usage to depict a Japanese Maple, ideal for displaying around your home.
With 474 pieces for £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99, the set carries an unusually high price tag for a LEGO Botanicals set with that piece count. It might be one to keep an eye on in the monthly sales.
“I have no clue why they don’t recolour some Technic pieces and joints. I get not doing brown because that’s a brittle color and Technic pieces / joints have to be stronger, but we already have tan Technic pieces and those would fit perfectly here. Instead, they use that ugly grey, it makes no sense.”
Spaghestis on reddit
Pros of 10348 Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree | Cons of 10348 Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree |
---|---|
Simple but efficient part usage | Expensive for LEGO Botanicals |
Great colour scheme, but… | … lots of abrupt grey elements |
Our verdict: LEGO 10348 Japanese Maple Tree is beautiful, but for £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99, sales on this set are going to be invaluable.
LEGO Marvel 76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure

LEGO Marvel 76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure finally brings the Fantastic Four and the iconic Marvel villain to life in LEGO. It’s not without an unfortunately high price tag.
With 427 pieces and four minifigures for £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99, 76316 Fantastic Four vs Galactus’ contents aren’t generous, and the first four Fantastic Four minifigures are far from ideal. Despite these shortcomings, Galactus makes great use of the buildable figure concept, forcing the perspective to really highlight his size.
“The price for this is absolutely ridiculous, this should not be $60. This feels like it should be $40 at most. There’s a lot I like in this set, but there’s so many things that bring the set down in it’s execution.”
Just2Good
Pros of 76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure | Cons of 76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure |
---|---|
Finally, LEGO Fantastic Four (and Galactus) | Minifigures leave something to be desired |
Galactus makes great use of the buildable figure concept | A high price tag for the contents. |
Exclusive minifigures but… | …The Thing stands out |
Our verdict: Those desperate for LEGO Fantastic Four will find everything they need in 76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure, it’s just a shame the highly anticipated Marvel model is so expensive.
LEGO Minecraft 21276 The Creeper

LEGO Minecraft 21276 The Creeper steps onto the scene this summer, recreating the video game in its most accurate LEGO form so far. By using one stud for one pixel of the Creeper’s design, the LEGO designers have been able to faithfully recreate the creature, without making the model too big, or expensive. All of that’s not to mention the nostalgic bonus figure hidden inside the build, too.
This is one LEGO Minecraft set that will likely draw a crowd beyond Minecraft fans, since the Creeper has such an iconic look that is packed in an affordable LEGO model.
“I haven’t bought a LEGO Minecraft set in years (mostly because of two week Minecraft phases making me uninterested in buying merch of the game and gimmicky builds) but my god this looks so good. I might pick this one up honestly.”
JPevendumber on reddit
Pros of 21276 The Creeper | Cons of 21276 The Creeper |
---|---|
A Minecraft icon, perfectly captured | An inevitably repetitive build |
A nostalgic bonus figure | No hissing feature like previous Creeper figures |
Decent range of movement and easy to display |
Our verdict: For £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99, for over 600 pieces, there are few reasons to skip out on 21276 The Creeper this summer. Whether you barely know Minecraft or have been playing for years 21276 The Creeper is priced perfectly for every enthusiast.
LEGO NINJAGO 71847 The Guardian Dragon

LEGO NINJAGO is embracing display experiences this summer with two dedicated sets based on the new Monstrosity series. The biggest and most expensive of these is 71847 The Guardian Dragon, depicting a dragon in-flight above a shrine with a sword floating on a serene pond. Master Wu accompanies the dragon and there’s even an exclusive poster in the illustrated box.
It’s an entirely new move by the NINJAGO team, prioritising display even more than the NINJAGO City range with few features to speak of and an impressive build that is catering to adult NINJAGO fans more than ever, which makes sense after nearly 15 years of the theme.
“You should really only get this if you want a nice-looking NINJAGO display model and if that’s what you want, this is it. If you prefer the traditional NINJAGO play experience, this isn’t trying to be that.”
Bricks by Mind
Pros of 71847 The Guardian Dragon | Cons of 71847 The Guardian Dragon |
---|---|
Stunning display model | Only one minifigure |
Something new for NINJAGO, but… | … it won’t appeal to many existing NINJAGO fans with only one minifigure |
Great value compared to other LEGO display sets |
Our verdict: LEGO NINJAGO fans longing for a stunning display model need look no further than 71847 The Guardian Dragon. Those searching for a standard NINJAGO experience, though, should look elsewhere.
LEGO Bluey June 2025 wave

After a few unsuccessful attempts through LEGO Ideas, Bluey is finally joining the brick-built portfolio through a range of DUPLO and 4+ sets this June. These sets are definitely not targeted towards you or us first and foremost, so what you really want to know is: are they the sort of thing you should be buying for your kids (or younger relatives)?
The answer is a pretty firm yes, because while they carry the requisite high price tags of all 4+ sets (a consequence of printed parts and specialist moulds), there’s a lot going on here to entertain the primary target audience. The minifigures might take some getting used to but do feel very LEGO-like in their approach, while the builds prioritise play first and foremost.
“For kids, the fun of these Bluey sets is obviously apparent. For anyone mature enough to be looking up reviews for toys online, take this word of advice: the best way to experience LEGO Bluey is to build it with a child. Considering that the whole point of the Bluey cartoon is to encourage parents to play with their kids in new and different ways, this feels incredibly fitting.”
Brick Fanatics
Pros of LEGO Bluey June 2025 wave | Cons of LEGO Bluey June 2025 wave |
---|---|
The perfect sets to build with your kids | The minifigure design won’t necessarily be for everyone (though kids probably won’t care) |
Lots of fun in each box for little ones | 11203 Bluey’s Family House doesn’t really resemble the house from the outside |
Ideally suited to their target audience | Inevitably pricey sets |
Our verdict: If you’re looking for the next big LEGO thing for kids of the right age and interest, Bluey hits pretty much every note you’d expect. It’s the perfect gateway to keep DUPLO builders hooked on LEGO as they outgrow those bigger building blocks and move on to System.
LEGO Harry Potter 76449 Chomping Monster Book of Monsters

The second brick-built Monster Book of Monsters is the first to be available at wide retail (the previous version was a gift-with-purchase), and makes good use of its increased piece count to pack in some proper functionality. Thanks to an integrated mechanism and hidden wheels underneath, you can pull back the book and watch it chomp away at a decent pace.
It’s the sort of experimental concept that’s come to define the LEGO Harry Potter theme (at least beyond its endless parade of modular Hogwarts sets) in recent years, and should make for a nice offbeat addition to any Wizarding World collection. You can probably take or leave the Neville Longbottom minifigure, mind.
“The first of this era of Harry Potter sets that’s really grabbed my attention, probably because it’s something we never got a full set of before.”
Wumbo_Number_5 on reddit
Pros of 76449 Chomping Monster Book of Monsters | Cons of 76449 Chomping Monster Book of Monsters |
---|---|
Relatively fresh concept for Harry Potter | Relatively dull minifigure |
Fun and unique functionality | Not the best value at full price |
Looks just like the ‘real’ thing | Playset fans will want to look elsewhere |
Our verdict: One to grab if you fancy something a little different from LEGO Harry Potter – and to show off in action to friends.
LEGO Icons 10351 Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook

It feels fitting that the first Sherlock Holmes LEGO set is not what you’d necessarily have expected from the first Sherlock Holmes LEGO set. Yes, it’s 221B Baker Street (and surrounding buildings), easily the default choice for the series’ most iconic location, but it’s executed here in an unorthodox way. 10351 Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook represents the first venture in a new type of set for the LEGO Group.
What’s smart about the way the LEGO designers are tackling book nooks this summer, though, is that they’re not hemmed into being closed-up models that hide away all the neat building techniques and details spread across the sets. This one can open out fully into a street scene that still sits neatly between books on a shelf, or works as its own standalone display piece.
“You thought you knew how LEGO would do a book nook, until 10351 Sherlock Holmes Book Nook was revealed. The twist in concept is an excellent idea and makes this a wholly engaging and quite unique LEGO experience well worth your attention.”
Brick Fanatics
Pros of 10351 Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook | Cons of 10351 Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook |
---|---|
Innovative approach to both Sherlock Holmes and book nooks | A couple of key characters are mysteriously absent |
Packed with clever building techniques | Closing it up into a book nook risks hiding some of the great design |
Detailed and diverse minifigure line-up |
Our verdict: A day one buy for mystery fans and literature nerds alike, this will be topof the list for many of us in June.
LEGO Icons 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger

The LEGO Group is picking up where it left off 10 years ago with 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger, bringing Springfield’s finest back to shelves without skipping a beat. The fast food restaurant and its cast of characters fit perfectly with 71006 The Simpsons House and 71016 Kwik-E-Mart stylistically, but does that mean it’s as strong as either of those highly-coveted sets? Not entirely.
There’s a lot to love here, from the variety of Easter eggs to the spot-on Squeaky-Voiced Teen minifigure. But for every overflowing grease trap, there’s a missing window to weight gain; for every Officer Lou there’s a strangely-proportioned Sideshow Bob. So while it nails the show’s wider aesthetic, hardcore Simpsons fans might find just enough to grumble about here to stop it from being a day one purchase. Good luck resisting forever, though…
“Overall I actually did enjoy building the model more than I initially thought I would, and I like the way it neatly folds and unfolds. I think it would be a nice display piece for a collector, and a fun model to build while watching the show. That said, it does not seem like a $200+ set. Not even close.””
The Brothers Bricks
Pros of 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger | Cons of 10352 The Simpsons: Krusty Burger |
---|---|
Blends in seamlessly with previous Simpsons sets (even if it’s a little small) | Not all minifigure designs hit the mark |
A couple of really excellent minifigures | Some obvious references missing |
It’s just nice to have The Simpsons back on shelves again! | Paying full price might feel like stepping on a rake… or 10 |
Our verdict: Not the surefire hit it sounded on paper, and particularly one to wait for a sale on given the high price tag, but there’s enough to entice Simpsons fans eventually.
LEGO Ideas 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine

The second of two LEGO Ideas sets debuting on June 1 is a shortcut to a stealth Collectible Minifigures series (of sorts), serving up 16 brand new characters to win from its pot-luck gacha machine. Included among those are two new colours of Classic Space astronauts, two new Castle factions and nods to Pirates, Fabuland and Paradisa.
21358 Minifigure Vending Machine will be high on the list for anyone feeling the retro vibes of those themes, but given the relatively hefty price tag attached to it, there needs to be more reason to buy than just the minifigures. And all things considered, the build here is both faithful to the initial concept and improved where it matters, like the coin mechanism used to operate the crank. You’ll have plenty of fun dispensing minifigures to friends, family, your kid’s friends, and random passers-by, if you so choose.
“I love it, however it concerns me that once the minifigures are removed for display (because why wouldn’t you want to display these absolute gems?!) the balls are going to look very odd in the machine empty. I guess one could add more generic, or some duplicate Collectible Minifigures to make it look full again… it’s something to think about.”
ajx107 on reddit
Pros of 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine | Cons of 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine |
---|---|
Outstanding minifigure selection | Pretty steep price tag for what’s in the box |
Accomplished build with fun mechanisms | Duplicate astronauts could have offered different colours |
Did we mention those minifigures? |
Our verdict: The LEGO Group knows what it’s doing with those minifigures and that price tag, but it’s a difficult one to say no to. Teal astronauts at last…
LEGO Jurassic World 76976 Spinosaurus & Quetzalcoatlus Air Mission

The biggest and most expensive LEGO Jurassic World: Rebirth set ticks a lot of boxes across its 984 pieces. 76976 Spinosaurus & Quetzalcoatlus Air Mission marks the reintroduction of the LEGO Spinosaurus at long last, nearly two and a half decades on from the deadly dino’s debut in a 2001 LEGO Studios Jurassic Park III set. It serves up nearly all the main characters from Gareth Edwards’ summer blockbuster. And best of all, its main build wouldn’t look out of place in a theme like Adventurers or Indiana Jones.
There’s a lot here to tempt even casual Jurassic fans, and while the price point may feel like an obstacle to overcome for those not well-versed with the theme, veteran collectors will know that these giant moulded dinos don’t come cheap. This latest wave of LEGO Jurassic World sets is perhaps the best yet, headlined by a model not to miss in 76976 Spinosaurus & Quetzalcoatlus Air Mission.
“This set fills my heart with nostalgia and joy. It’s the ruined temple set piece that sells it. The structure could easily slide into the Adventurers or Indiana Jones theme, and having menacing dinosaurs there just makes it more delightful. The building techniques aren’t at the level of the more sophisticated NINJAGO temples or Monkie Kid dioramas, but there’s enough detail to spark the imagination.”

Pros of 76976 Spinosaurus & Quetzalcoatlus Air Mission | Cons of 76976 Spinosaurus & Quetzalcoatlus Air Mission |
---|---|
The long-awaited return of the Spinosaurus | There’s just no getting away from the prices of these sets |
One of the best location builds we’ve seen from this theme in a while | Another minifigure would have helped to sweeten the deal |
Lots going on from a play perspective |
Our verdict: If you’ve only got the budget for one LEGO Jurassic World set this summer, here’s hoping it stretches all the way up to 76976 Spinosaurus & Quetzalcoatlus Air Mission.
LEGO Harry Potter 76451 Privet Drive: Aunt Marge’s Visit

We’re eight years into the rebooted LEGO Harry Potter theme at this point, so it’s no surprise to see the LEGO Group revisiting the franchise’s most iconic locations. But that’s more than welcome when the upgrades are as substantial as 76451 Privet Drive: Aunt Marge’s Visit, which finally gives us a fully enclosed version of the house in which Harry Potter grew up.
This one is specifically hooked to The Prisoner of Azkaban too – a nice change of pace from previous Chamber of Secrets sets – which means we’ve got our first Aunt Marge minifigure, along with our first inflated Aunt Marge figure. The execution of Ball Marge (suggestions for better names on the back of a postcard) is probably one of the highlights of not only this LEGO Harry Potter wave, but the entire June 2025 assortment.
“That is a really cool-looking Aunt Marge minifigure. It’s a pretty solid set overall, but my brain immediately associated it with the older version of Privet Drive.”

Pros of 76451 Privet Drive: Aunt Marge’s Visit | Cons of 76451 Privet Drive: Aunt Marge’s Visit |
---|---|
First fully-enclosed Privet Drive | Inevitably the most expensive Privet Drive yet |
Novel technique for inflated Aunt Marge | Good luck deciding whether to display it open or closed (not really a flaw) |
Best and most faithful Privet Drive set yet |
Our verdict: Easily the best Privet Drive yet, and worth upgrading to even if you already own the previous version.
LEGO Speed Champions 77241 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000

The latest LEGO Speed Champions release races on to shelves with more than a few strings in its bow: it’s the first movie-inspired car since 2023; it marks the debut of 2 Fast 2 Furious’s Suki; and it’s the first LEGO Speed Champions set in pink, a full 10 years on from the theme’s very first wave back in 2015.
The heavy reliance on stickers for the car’s decals won’t be to everyone’s tastes, nor will the colour, while the actual resemblance to the on-screen vehicle is up for debate (within the confines of LEGO as an artistic medium). But 77241 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000 should be an easy day-one purchase for LEGO Speed Champions fans looking for something a little different in their collection.
“Even if people dislike the look of the car, it offers some interesting prospects for the future of the line. The convertible windshield element is new and looks a lot better than the one on the AMG GT, and we’re getting a stud mounted round steering wheel for the first time.”

Pros of 77241 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000 | Cons of 77241 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000 |
---|---|
A bold new colour for LEGO Speed Champions | A handful of areas for improvement in the car’s shaping |
Pairs nicely with previous Fast & Furious cars | The stickers are just slightly overboard |
Price is in line with other recent Speed Champions sets |
Our verdict: Another solid LEGO Speed Champions effort that stands out in the wider collection for all the right reasons, and comes as a refreshing palate cleanser after March’s F1-heavy wave.

LEGO Icons 10367 The Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook

LEGO The Lord of the Rings is back with its most affordable modern-era set so far, joining the new book nook collection while finally debuting a proper LEGO Balrog figure.
Early reactions to this initially exciting set have been mixed, with many finding themselves disappointed with the open sides of the model compared to the rest of the new LEGO book nooks. While the Balrog looks impressive, the reuse of the Fell Beast wings combined with a lack of fire hasn’t left the best first impression.
“It’s tremendously wasted for a book nook, the Balrog deserved a better, detailed set, i don’t even like that it’s all black, they had to add parts of fire on the body.”

Pros of 10367 The Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook | Cons of 10367 The Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook |
---|---|
Finally, a proper LEGO Balrog | The structure feels emptier than other LEGO book nooks |
Wings are integrated into the unfolding feature | Another pricey LEGO The Lord of the Rings set, but more affordable than others |
A unique take on a LEGO book nook | The Balrog figure has room for improvement |
Our verdict: LEGO Icons 10367 The Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook has well-executed areas, but some equally disappointing parts in another pricey package based on the iconic films. It’s one to look for on sale, though the functionality is excellent.
